Er prägte die „<a href="Nouvelle_Cuisine" title="Nouvelle Cuisine">Nouvelle Cuisine</a>“ mit.
</p><p>Von 1969 bis 2003 betrieb er mit seiner Frau in <a href="Mougins" title="Mougins">Mougins</a> das Restaurant <i><a href="Le_Moulin_de_Mougins" title="Le Moulin de Mougins">Le Moulin de Mougins</a></i>.
